This was the point I was trying to make in my comment at that point in the game, but this is sooooo much better put. Well done!

Feels good to enjoy match of the day for once. like forest and wolves who strung a couple of results together, you move a few places up the table and start to feel safer but you can soon be dragged right back in to the mix - first weekend back there’s palace v Leicester, forest v wolves and West Ham vs Southampton, don’t get a result at Arsenal and we will prob be back in the relegation zone. The 3 home games on the trot will be massive for us get 6 or 7 and it’s a huge step to survival.

That’s quite refreshing to hear after the blatant bias of the announcers we had to endure during the live match.

Ahh. Ex-Forest, that explains it. Defo got his anti Leeds bias from Clough then.

Exactly. Still too close for comfort. Forest and Wolves looked safe a few weeks ago, now their GD looks dangerous.

Goal difference essentially worth a point come the final match day, hopefully ours is still fairly good and it keeps us out of the mix from any final day shenanigans.

Can't say I noticed any difference in MOTD without Lineker, or missed his smug grin. Let him go to BT/Sky and save £1m+ of tax payers money.

Both Jackie and Ayling could have had a leg broken each in those horrific challenges by Dawson an Jonny.

To think that Wolves are talking about appealing the red card is laughable. Dawson should get one retrospectively.

Also, the whining about Meslier delaying kick outs is pathetic. Last season, when we drew late with them in ER, their goalie was as bad as Pickford in scandalous time wasting throughout the game. They conveniently forget that.

It makes beating them, yet again, all the more satisfying.

This is how Billy would have handled it at half time. No f**king around.

Bizarre.
Apparently BBC were told not to mention it could be subjudicious and influence a possible upcoming legal battle. Traores shirt was seen being put in an evidence bag by a very tall detective as he left the pitch.

There are also ( currently unsubstantiated ) rumours that Roger Cook is on his way over from Kiwiland to make a one hour special on the whole sorry affair.
