We need some midfielders in our unbalance squad.

Greenwood was our only midfielder (a converted one at that) on the bench vs Brentford

I imagine this has something to do with Juve being docked 15 points making it very difficult for them to achieve European football next season.
Plus they're in financial s**t.

Adams - Roca - Dallas (INJ) - Forshaw (INJ) - Greenwood - Gyabi - Aaronson - Gray (INJ)

We're fairly deep in midfield just it's our most injured position, couple out on loan too IIRC

If it turns out to be true it must be the 49s protecting their asset and building shirt sales for the good ole US of A.

I thought he did alright in the World Cup.

So three of them are long-term injuries, three are kids whom are still wet behind the ears, one is a summer signing who isn't pulling any trees up.

Dallas may not come back the same player this season.

Forshaw is constantly injured.

Where was Gyabi on Sunday?

We require more central midfielders, end of.

Gray is back soon, very good footballer, Dallas is the only long term one I know about for sure. No clue where Gyabi was but he's one of the best centre mids at the club.

In reality we need two cms.

A Klich replacement and competition for Roca and Adams.

But can't ask for miracles.

McKennie is talented but his injury record is a concern.

Dallas is class, hope he comes back to the same level, Forshaw is gash, Greenwood has no pace and is still learning, Aaronsen needs dropping, Gray is years away from 1st team football, Gyabi looks good, only time will tell.

We shouldn't allow Klich to go & have no replacement in mind.

It would be like sacking Jesse & thinking as after thought, who are do we replace our departed coach now :duno:

I agree regarding Forshaw and Greenwood, he doesn't offer much when he comes on (or even starts). If McKennie is injury prone, he should fit right in, and Forshaw will take him on a tour of the treatment room.

Greenwood does offer more at set pieces though, why any normal footballer can't cross a ball is beyond me.

Still on the list apparently.

Hope for both, we need both, different types of midfielders :)

Wouldn't mind both either, as with the forward line now, it's a headache, but a nice headache to have, back up is important in any league, especially the PL.

McKennie is an outstanding player on his day and would improve our side. If the price is right, grab him.
