Never did singles, even as a ten year old I wanted the album and my first was Electric Warrior, given to me by a friend of mums. Second album with my own money was Blue Oyster Cult in 73, by 16/17 I had around 50 albums, most of which none of my mates had heard of and mostly American

T.Rex, First album was T.Rex. I then looked into the history. 'My people were Fair' and 'Unicorn' followed, as did 'Electric Warrior'.

The 'Metal Guru' intro is awesome, almost my third choice. But the orchestra, and piano (interesting for the 70's ) and Marc's guitar solo on 'Teenage Dream' and the fact that Marc Bolan was my teenage dream swung it for me

I have a semi acoustic Bass guitar, great fun playing 'I love to Boogie' on Bass
