I couldn't name one song by them, tbh.
I'll pass on this one.

Great choice Leon
Although, the Big O would be great too
Love OMDs first LP as it was something different to all the other stuff I was listening to. Like the early stuff best. Saw them a number of times live and they were always brilliant

Pass - not sure I even know 3 songs
Re: A to Z of Pop - Your 3 favourite OMD songs
I was beginning to think I'd chosen the wrong artist, James. I'd have thought quite a few 80's pop fans on here would enjoy OMD.White Riot wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 7:58 pm Great choice Leon

No, it's a good choice mate, great group too.
Always made catchy and listenable music.
But it all comes down to taste.
I could name my favourite Big O and O Jays songs, but it would be from a short list and I guess many youngsters wouldn't have listened to those artists much.
But they should

I'm trying to vary my choices to a wider audience, I'm not a big fan of the last three artists I've selected, but it's not about me! However, I generally enjoy at least a few songs from the majority of bands/artists.

Same here, with a few exceptions
Re: A to Z of Pop - Your 3 favourite OMD songs
This would be my brother's wet dream. He's a huge OMD fan, he's seen them live around 15 times including recently.
I saw them live twice at the Ipswich Regent back in the 80's.

Re: A to Z of Pop - Your 3 favourite OMD songs
I think I know 3 OMD songs, RFWL, Enola Gay and maybe one more I couldn't name... It's really not enough to vote for otherwise it becomes not a favourites poll more a song's I've heard poll. Never knowingly heard an OMD album I'm afraid.White Riot wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 9:34 pm No, it's a good choice mate, great group too.
