I've just put my Christmas tree up!
Don't approve of Christmas stuff before December, but I've got some new twinkly lights going up the stairs that are quite festive.
Tend to regard Christmas as a midwinter season rather than one, over-hyped day, so have been feeling a bit wintery. Won some mulled wine in a raffle, so been having that with mince pies.

I've never tried mulled wine, sara.
I usually buy advocaat or make milk punch at Christmas.

It's nice hot, but I tend to drink it too quickly. Been adding brandy and home made mead to pep it up. Mulled cider is good too.
Only discovered advocaat the summer before last when I tried pepping up some vanilla ice cream with it, which worked well.

We tend to buy a few bottles of mulled wine, very warming after a brisk walk.

Going to try that.

I bought a bottle of mulled cider at the Norfolk Christmas Fair last week.
