Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
Did Fowler know he handed him the RC then.
Would’ve made him putt although he wouldn’t have missed

Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
singles 6-6- they didn't gain any thing
Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
Luke Donald owned Zach Johnson.
They said a private plane came over early to practice and only 9 Americans consented to travel. Then the cap & money fiasco plus Le Cava. Not exactly covered themselves in glory

Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
Something didn't seem right with the way America went about this Ryder cup, almost like it was an inconvenience and that they were not really bothered about it. Media will of course hype it up more than it really is but it just seems like something wasn't quite right with them and their play on the first day was shocking, considering the quality they have.

Being on the other side of the pond, I'm just watching now having recorded it overnight.
I have to say, I checked the scores first as there is no way I was going to watch if those fu**ers pinched it

Well done Europe and well done captain Donald. The force was strong in you Luke - you defeated the dark side.

Thank god the “right” result happened.
Just registered my interest in Ireland 2027. Not sure when the ballot is but I’ll give it a go.
Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
Not sure if they showed it over there, but here NBC started the coverage with this big analysis of the 18th hole incident.
Footage from another angle showed how while Rory was analyzing his putt Lacava just wandered almost in front of him waving his cap. What a total dickhead! Rory of course asked him for some space.
Typical bullheaded inconsiderate attitude we'd sadly come to expect.
I believe they've all hugged and made up.
Re: Golf Thread - The Ryder Cup
I'd love to go to the next one over here, but I'm afraid I may land up in hospital - as the saying goes - if people could read my mind I'd get punched in the face a lot

The first prick to shout "mashed potatoes" or "in the hole" within range of me would get a kick in the bullocks.
