It will be interesting to see who Newcastle buy and how well they do. 1 or 2 key signings could be enough whereas a cluster of signings that don't hit the ground running could send them down.

We're in the s**t anyway, I think signing a few players gives us a better chance of survival than pinning our hopes on Joelinton's renaissance spreading to players like Jeff Hendrick and Dwight Gayle.

Watford & the transfer window could well be your saving grace, Fish.

Kitten Trippier is due in Newcastle tomorrow for a medical ahead of a £12million move.

Kieran Trippier has finally been unveiled as a Newcastle United player.

The England full-back joins the Magpies from Atletico Madrid for a fee of £12m plus add-ons.

Cant fault the ambition similar to Villa.

Doesnt say much for Trippier that he is willing to be the public face of a dictatorship.

And it will take more than a full back to save them, but its a very good start.

Two blokes in my office are Cambridge season ticket holders, one of them was at the game today. He'll be buzzing on Monday morning.

Full team out today and their marque signing, they're doomed.
