Former RB Salzburg and current Brighton midfielder Enock Mwepu has been forced to retire aged just 24 due to the diagnosis of a hereditary heart condition.

Shame for the lad, hopefully his health can be better managed now though

Has the bubble burst at Brighton?

Four victories in their first six games under Graham Potter.

Since his departure, two defeats & one draw.

Potter is the best British manager by a distance, so no surprise Brighton have had a dip in form. The manager is the most important factor in football

Always hoped that Potter would come to Leeds.

Never going to happen now.

Next England manager?

Did we play the Seagulls at the wrong time?

No victory in four games since they smashed Leicester 5-2

Only one goal in the last three games under their new coach.

How poor were they vs Forest last night?

That's life, They're not the same team since losing Potter. A large unknown factor in the Premiership is when you play a team, but it's a key one. We got realy unlucky last season and it was a factor along with the injuries for the down season... We played Chelsea at the right time as a counter point

Yeah... the barstewards cost me my winner stays on stake at work. 19 shots 7 on target with 2 clear chances. Forest 0 on target.

They looked magic against us. I need to get back to the philosophical stone.

Not doubt Forest will look magic against us by the time we play them :(

Definitely played Brighton at the wrong time. And was going to use Chelsea as the counterargument. No doubt we'll now be playing Forest at the wrong time. But you'd think in the grand scheme of things that all balances out.

Thinking Southgate's time will be up after the world cup. Probably no need to appoint a new manager until March. I think that's still too early for top prospects like Howe and Potter, Unless Potter flops, couldn't see him giving the Chelsea job anything less than 2 years. Not sure where that would leave the status of the England job. Southgate staying on indefinitely out of sense of duty?

Brighton have announced they have completed the signing of 17 year old Argentinian wonder kid
Facundo Buonanotte from Rosario Central where his manager is former Argentinia and Premier League goal machine Carlos Tevez.

Facundo Buonanotte is the latest starlet to be compared to the Legendary Lionel Messi and they share similarities with Buonanotte being a left footed diminutive attacking midfielder.

Despite not turning 18 until a few days before Christmas Buonanotte has already made an impact this season managing 4 goals and 2 assists.

He is considered one of the brightest talents in South America and considered a coup couple Brighton.

It staggered me for years why we never ever raided South America when Bielsa was here.

Focusing on Premier league youth players and European ones.

Could never understand it.

Facundo Buonanotte is higher rated in the football world than anyone we ever signed.

No guarantees he will make it of course but shows the potential in South America which for some reason we totally ignored despite Bielsa being am obvious in.

Brighton scoring for fun with another five goals at Boro' today, their World Cup star Mac Allister grabbing a brace, oh for Leeds to have another World Cup winner. :duno:

17 goals in the last six PL games.

32 goals scored in the PL
11 goals scored in the Cups

Outside the elite clubs, Brighton must have a chance of winning the FA Cup with a bit of luck in the draw.

8 Trossard
7 Grob
7 Mac Allister
4 Mitoma
3 Ferguson

Also, Brighton have benefited from 4 own goals
