If you’re going to talk about Bielsa and his undoubted humility & honesty how can we consider Allardyce? Just sweep his dodgy past under the carpet. Convenient

Bielsa's rejected Everton.

Supposedly he’s said they are too slow. He’d need faster players recruited in the window. But yes it’s a no basically. Possibly saw footage of the nutters holding up players in the street. “Hey Bielsa, lad, lad, lad, lad etc

Didn't do it for WBA.
He isn't the sure thing he once was.
But your saying he is better than Bielsa, I gotcha

That would be Brill. Bielsa says no and Gordon could be off.

I don't remember Sam' s Bolton , Newcastle Blackburn or West Ham being long ball teams.
Maybe with 10 mins to go if they needed a goal.
Shows how people's perception of things are different. Hierro ,Campo or Jay Jay weren't proper players?

Re: Everton Thread - Fwank fired.
It was the first time he'd failed and think they were probably a bit too far gone when he took over - I just hope we aren't too far gone when they sack Marsch.
Allardyce, in terms of being able to get a team organized quickly and playing his way would in my opinion be a safer bet for a club like Everton at this point in time than taking Bielsa as I think Allardyce can go in and get them playing his way a lot quicker than Bielsa could get them playing his way. Bielsa mid season is a big uunknown whereas Allardyce has been there and has a shirt collection.

Allardyce's Bolton were pleasing on the eye with player like Jay Jay Okocha and Youri Dorjkaeff. Allardyce, somehwat unfairly, gets labelled as a long ball manager.Mick Jones shoulder wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 6:33 pm I don't remember Sam' s Bolton , Newcastle Blackburn or West Ham being long ball teams.
