Not wanting Chelsea to take all the heat.

Everton are trying to desperately distance themselves from Billionaire benefactor Alisher Usmanov because of his links to Russian Dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin.

The Uzbekistan businessman was supposed to just be a distant figure at Everton but it has been claimed this is far from the case and that he was even involved in recruiting Frank Lampard and was present over a zoom interview (which Lampard denied and as we all know Frank absolutely always tells the truth).

Everton have today announced that they are suspending all ties with Russian companies backed by Alisher Usmanov including USM Holdings, Yota and Megafon.

It has long been suspected that Alisher Usmanov was the money behind Everton not Chairman Farhad Moshiri who coincidentally is Chairman of USM Holdings which Alisher Usmanov founded and still holds a large share in.

Indeed Moshiri himself may come under pressure given the vast majority of his wealth is directly linked and in likelihood largely due to his relationship with Alisher Usmanov who it should also be remembered was recently sanctioned by the EU.

Still Frank has spoken lads, nothing to see here.

Looking at their fixtures on BBC sport there are another 4 PL games to fit in which means they're playing weekends and midweek for the rest of the season.

The fun fact is, without the 19 points Agent Rafa won for Everton, they'd be so far behind Norwich, they'd be in Ipswich.

The scousers will find a loophole to wriggle out of a point's deduction for at least this season.

I posted simular on Waccoe, Everton like Derby will be spared, the PL and EFL are both as corrupt as Sepp Blatter, it's not about who's the better team anymore, it's who has the most money and can buy their 'success'

You mean that loophole that clearly states:

All clubs spending too much money (with the exception of West Yorkshire clubs who play in all white who will be docked enough points to see them relegated) will have a finger wagged at them in a (mock) aggressive manner and told not to get caught again.

Further exceptions include clubs owned by tyrannical owners who have money falling out of their pockets. These exceptions will be completely ignored.

I should have been a lawyer.

I saw the chav interviewed after Palace demolished Everton , it was of course everybody else's fault. Players not doing as told , Everton did as well as Palace, score not reflective of game etc etc etc . Well he is obviously going the Mourinho route and alienating players against him already , does it occur to the entitled one that he may actually be a crap manager ?
I loved that result , love to see Lampard squirm and struggle to answer things , hope Everton go down while this piece of s**t is there .

Went back and had a read of the Athletic article that was done after he was sacked.

It highlighted that according to Chelsea sources Lampard didn't give clear tactical instructions and instead often told players just go and express themselves.

He played favourites and didn't talk to some players for months.

And despite the fact he had been a player fairly recently he showed a lack of empathy for players especially those in poor form and low on confidence and preferred to publicly criticise them which hurt the players.

It seems he has learned nothing.
