Re: Spurs Thread
Spurs thread too soon let's get over the shock of Liverpool first
Re: Spurs Thread
But this shows 2 things.
First of all that Radz investment at Premier League level is low. £100mil he said he had invested in total, in this league owners invest more than that in one go.
Secondly at what a large disadvantage we still are at financially.
We are one of the poorest clubs.in the league and any talk of Europe is likely fantasy without significant investment from our owners which is unlikely to ever come.

Tottenham have confirmed the signing of England goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a free transfer.
Just the type of cover we require for Meslier.

Re: Spurs Thread - Fraser Forster.
He was on £70k pw at Suthampton. I suspect that's way above what we even pay Meslier. Doubt we'll be paying that to a sub keeper.

Yea, the mind boggles at times, Meslier is a good shot stopper, but is absolutely dreadful with his feet, his distribution is woeful at best, he will learn like, very young for a keeper, lots of time on his side, but, we do really need some experienced cover, Ben Foster or Nick Pope, either would do for me.

Re: Spurs Thread - Fraser Forster.
Pope feels like a no-brainer, England keeper who will want to be playing in the Prem with a WC around the corner.

Pope would be a fantastic addition to the squad, if only

Re: Spurs Thread - Fraser Forster.
I'd be surprised if an English international keeper who wants to go to the WC will sit on the Leeds bench. I'd be very surprised if Leeds will pay the salary needed to keep an English international keeper on the bench. if he comes I presume Meslier will go.
Re: Spurs Thread - Fraser Forster.
Spurs have agreed a £30m deal for Brighton & Hove Albion's coveted Mali midfielder Yves Bissouma.
The 25-year-old becomes Spurs boss Antonio Conte's third summer signing, following deals for goalkeeper Fraser Forster and winger Ivan Perisic.

Re: Spurs Thread
Richarlison is a serious signing by Spurs. Not so much that he will add to the team, but to spend €50 million on a sub is a big sign of their intent to back Conte. Son, Kane, Kulusevski, Perisic, Richarlison, Moura vying for a couple of places...they are light years ahead of us.

Not in my opinion

Re: Spurs Thread
I don't think so. But to spend 50 million on what, a 3rd or 4th choice at best...I think even Arsenal and ManU don't compete with that. For a club that was all about their huge debt a year or 2 ago...
Re: Spurs Thread
Some on here are also on the other forum so will know this already.
But someone on that forum who is apparently regarded as a reliable source of information said that Spurs have been trying to get Jack Harrison and have tried bids of just over £20million.
They were rejected but he says we expect them to come back in.
We want £35mil.
Make of that what you will but reliable sources have confirmed that Conte and Spurs do like him.

Richardson will be a starter/play very often for spurs, he won't have gone there to sit on the bench. Very good player - probably on a par with rapha in terms of quality tbh
Re: Spurs Thread
Spurs have got a good price here tbh, Everton bought him for 50 mill a few years back and he's definitely been a solid performer for them

Re: Spurs Thread
Good signing for Spurs. Versatile, can rotate with Son, Kane and Kulusevski without a huge drop off.
