Not to be, unfortunately.
Hopefully Katherine can win the Ladies or Pairs titles.

Hector hasn't bitten, yet!
Re: Bowls on BBC 2/I Player this week from Potters, Norfolk.
Arguably the best match of the tournament so far between Stuart Anderson & Jamie Chestney.
Chestney win the tie-break.
Anderson, one of the favourites out.

Dawes v Willgress could potentially supersede the last match for quality with these to on the green.
Love watching Mark Dawes play, probably the best drawer of a bowl imo!

It is... I have to say though that I do not do any shooting...
Also, with the lack of birds now (most of them have already been shot) the beating gets a lot harder and longer in Jan.... So I don't do it....
Re: Bowls on BBC 2/I Player this week from Potters, Norfolk.
Indoor Bowls is light exercise mate, the outdoor game is much tougher pending on the weather & condition of the greens.

Moggs I played liggys regularly for a few seasons ,
I didn't mind where I played lead 2nd or skip
We always had a canny time,
When i skipped in the clegg I never put pressure on my lead or 2nd and we always had a laugh.
I got invited to play for northumberland but playing all day on a Saturday nee good to me.
We had a great bunch of young uns playing for us
We went from div 6 to div 1 ...winning the league every year and ended up runners up to Gosforth when we got to Div 1.
Anyhoo one of the youngsters qualified for a TV event
And was a massive underdog and a massive price I had two bets on him @ 66/1 and 33/1
Everyone in the club backed him and everyone in the local ciu club backed him....he only went on and won the fooking thing it was mental happy days man
I never actually owned a set of woods I just used the club spare sets size 5 henselites.
I think he went to Wales.. Robert Chisholm. I think he would of been in his early 20s when he won
We had him skipping at 16.

Re: Bowls on BBC 2/I Player - Why the RED BUTTON, any other sport....
Why the RED BUTTON, any other premier sporting event, the various sports channels would be interrupting daily programmes.
Bowls only goes live for the afternoon sessions, even though there are big matches in play from 10am.
Devote the whole coverage on BBC2 at the very least!

Re: Bowls on BBC 2/I Player - Why the RED BUTTON? any other sport....
The BBC sports is a joke.
They've got Wimbledon and nowt much else so they absolutely bombard you with it..... showing matches on BBC 1 & 2 at the same time.
It starts off with the queen's club then it's total saturation for 3weeks.
Then it's the usual suspects on every year
Becker McEnroe....Tim fooking Hennman and all that henman hill bollox.
What did Tim nice but dim ever win?
The crowd looks like it's made up mostly of middle aged starstruck cougars.
Then it's over to Mr personality sir Andy Murray for a boring as fook interview.
They tend to get his mother on everyday as well.
You've got to listen to the women commentators prattling on about what a lovely cardigan Roger Federer is wearing today.
The BBC will never get a Meg out of me when
There putting this shyte on..
