Shocking by VAR and the ref once AGAIN.

Ecuador keeper red carded after very nasty high boot into a Brazilian attacker.

Allison wasn't a red card imo, Finn. Some mistimed challenges from both sides, just hope Raphinha escapes unscathed.

Bielsa's training methods will be to blame if Rapha gets crocked in Equador.

Raphinha fouled five or six times.

I wince every time he goes down.

Not for me either.
Gravity brought Alison’s foot down on the other player who also ran into the keeper’s foot.
Raphinha gives away a penalty but it’s overturned.
Against Leeds it would be a pen all day long 😉

In a way, it’s a shame it wasn’t one - Raphinha might have been second yellow carded and missed Brazil’s next game 😁
Raphinha subbed, phew.

This game is a warzone.

Best outcome is for Raph to be red carded.
However if he did expect the Brazillians to instruct the ref to rescind it.

I bet this ref wishes he didnt get out of bed today.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.
