Don’t see much bar Jesse saying he’s injured & not available. Hope it’s short term 🤞🏼🙏
So we’re going to find out what Firpo has. Why do I feel scared 😱

Did him a disservice only scoring him an 8 originally, on the re-watch he was top class, absolutely key today was everywhere on his side of the pitch. A defensive rock and a player who kept attacks down our left flowing all night

He's a left back now imo.... and I've upped it to a 9

Pascal

The best news to come out of Elland Road in a long time :)

His interview on the Leeds app is smashing, he genuinely loves our club

Great news .
The sooner we sort out the LB position and get him playing his best/natural position the better it will be all round

Isn't his best position central defence :duno:

Let's hope Koch or a new CB is able to play alongside our Big Pirate, whom totally lost his confidence last season when paired up with Llorente or Ayling.

We rarely win matches when those two are at the heart of our defence.

Pascal Struijk has now scored 3 of his 4 goals for Leeds with his head.

I'm not sure, his best games for us have been as a DMF and now left back where he's leading the team on Whoscored player rating for the season with over 7) His last outings at CB under Bielsa who did get the best out of him were fairly poor... probably worse than Coop

Hjelde is the LCB I think looks the part.. He'd be starting for me

Pascal, my MOTM vs Citeh, heavily involved throughout the game with tackles, blocks & interceptions, finishing off with a splendid headed goal.

At fault for the first goal, to narrow and left Mahrez.

He looked off to me. Missed the ball a couple of times when trying to clear and miscued several clearances,

How he's asked to play, similar to Kristensen not covering the wide player for the third.

Both full backs struggling it seems with this need to move them to be a CB 3 when we lose possession. Leaves a lot of space down the wings. So not only do we not play with width we also ignore width defensively. If JM could shave off an extra 10 yards of ER's width I'm sure he would. IIRC we play to the narrow limit atm

I don't think it's fair to blame Marsch for every mistake.

You can assign some blame for overly complicating the system which will lead to mistakes. We've recently changed formation and we also now change formation in game. That takes getting used to. Players are expected to be robots, why not the manager?
