Just checked.
Trevor made his debut for Birmingham in the 1970/71 season as a 16yo scoring 15 goals in 22 games, but in Division 2, Brum were promoted to Division 1 eighteen months later.

remember him saying that the revie side was the best club side he ever saw , and was commentator for sky when the famous yeboah goal was scored against liverpool . would be at a top club side these days . playing for birmingham and forest would be unimaginable for a player of his ability , a proven goalscorer in the sniffer clarke mould

Terrific footballer in his prime , I know how much I moaned at the time of a millionquid, or I think it was actually just shy of a million but he's credited as the first million pound player, shocking prices now.
