Re: Playlist over the last week......
I've been listening to ----- Police 'Greatest Hits' in the car.
Sting & co recorded some good stuff, Roxanne still one of my favourite Police songs.
What drives me mad about their songs is they sing the same line about 38 times, so repetitive!
I now know why I never purchased any of their studio albums.

The new Cult album isn't bad.
Otherwise been listening to El Combo Oscuro - Cumbia Capital.
Agree about The Police.

Same here. Bought it when it came out, and used to stick it on every night when I was getting ready to go out.Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 6:13 pm Yes it's good, Sara
...and that did prompt into a few listens this week of 'Love', which I played to death in 1985

Went to see Black Sabbitch this evening - an all female US Black Sabbath tribute band.
A good night, if you like Sabbath and they’re ever on near you I’d defo recommend. £17.95 well spent

Looks fun. I've never got the snobbery around tribute bands. All the ones I've seen have been really good.

The five stairsteps
Re: Playlist over the last week......
The Hamsters played at my birthday thing once. Used to see them a lot, them and the Muffin Men.
Saw a Santana tribute the same week as actually seeing Santana, and the tribute band were better.
Re: Playlist over the last week......
Was also listening to Dreamboat Annie recently. Big fan of Steve Hackett too.
Seen quite a few Floyd tributes - the Australians are still the best imo.
