Re: Jack Harrison
Indeed he has. Too many on here are too harsh on Jack but you could put his highlights package against any winger in the league and he would be up a the top end. Yes some crosses/shots go astray but when you see highlights from other wingers we don't see them in as much detail as we get from watching Jack every week - we just see the highlights.

Re: Jack Harrison
One of the top wingers in the prem, different to Raph but his first touch is almost unequalled in the division

Re: Jack Harrison
Such a consistently good player, a model pro, works so hard. Could have sat on his arse at Man City in the top flight, and collected bigger money on the squad there, rather than dropping down a division to the pressure of trying to drag Leeds back to greatness, Bielsa, murderball etc. Have said it before but the way he, Ayling, Bamford, Dallas and a few others are so invested in Leeds makes them indispensable and worth far more to Leeds than 50-100 million bracket players. They are the epitome of the Bielsa project, players who will drive themselves into the ground for this club.
Re: Jack Harrison
In contrast to Costa & Roberts our No.22 Jack Harrison nets a brace & provides an assist.
Going from the commentary, highlights & stats it sounds like Jack had a super game.
Jack Harrison vs. Crewe:
92% pass rate
87 touches
46/50 successful passes
11 duels won
7 chances created
6 tackles won
5 ball recoveries
5 successful crosses
5 shots
4 successful take-ons
4/5 successful long passes
3 shots on-target
2 big chances created
2 goals
1 assist
Jack's first goals as an official Leeds United player

Re: Jack Harrison
Form has really dipped recently and he was v poor again yesterday and arguably at fault for their goal - not sure what's happening here but soon he's going to find himself struggling to get in the team (unless Rapha is out for a while)

Said it all along , the lad has talent but is so lazy, don't know why we bought him, also shows why his price tag was so low, another flop in my book, James is going same way.

Re: Jack Harrison
When he’s on it he more than justifies the transfer fee. He has had some fabulous games for us.
The issue for me is his consistency. He can go several games without you knowing he’s there and contributes little.
No got going this season as yet. Frustrating.

Jack needs to find some consistency & buck his ideas up, awful yesterday offensively & defensively.VinnysTattoo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:11 am When he’s on it he more than justifies the transfer fee. He has had some fabulous games for us.

Not the first time he's been subbed at half-time this season.
Oh & there is no way he'd make a LWB, often loses track of the ball or tries to dribble out of a dangerous situation losing possession or plays a slack pass!

Like I said "the lad has talent but is so lazy," it's no good showing up once every four games or so is it ?
We've too many being inconsistent in my opinion.

Re: Jack Harrison
He'll be fine, a slow start due to niggly injuries etc. He's still cheap for a good bench player and he still will have a big part to play. Can we not keep slagging off our players for no good reason.

Most wingers are inconsistent though, it just seems to be part of the game.mentalcase wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:20 am Like I said "the lad has talent but is so lazy," it's no good showing up once every four games or so is it ?

Eddie Gray was and we is regarded as a Leeds great.
Harrison isnt on it yet though, I dunno for sure why but he has by his own admission had time spent with sports psychologists and after watching him these last four seasons it seems imo that he performs better when he reacts instinctively to situations. When he time on the ball he seems to over complicate it.
Last season though he proved to be a real weapon if he can get back into the groove will be again
