Summerville is a complete surprise.
Yeah, it looked bad.

I thought after the match Farke said he'd just rolled his ankle.

Tbh, Cooper, Firpo, Sinisterra, Bamford, etc, sem to miss lots of matches.

Could have been worse, when I saw him go down it looked at first like it was a knee problem and if it had have been it could have been the season over for him.

I doubt Farke would know the full extent of his injury, until the medics have completely assessed him, probably the next day.

Like Bamfraud and co, I expect him to blow up at any given moment anyway.

How many matches has Cooper missed by injuring himself in the warm up.

Then we had Bamfraud get injured taking a penalty in training.

You couldn't make it up.

Availability is an essential requirement, especially when you're running with a light squad in the first place.

Watford (h)

Good
7 defensive headers
4 interceptions
2 excellent passes
2 decent passes
2 ball recoveries
2 tackles
1 defensive clearance
1 offensive header

Bad
1 one unawareness moment

Probably went unnoticed, out captain had a very good game, apart one almost crazy moment

8.5/10

Southampton (a)

Good
4 defensive headers
2 tackles
2 blocks
1 interception

Bad
2 poor passes
1 lost marker & no pace for the first goal.
1 missed tackle
1 dribbled past
1 lost possession

Awful display from our captain, showing no leadership skills whatsoever, not up to it against a pacey defence

2/10

Phil Hay piece on the Skipper (by default it seems)

Testimonial year soon.

Out of contract in 2024.

Could have moved to Saudi but decided to stay

Asked for a 12month extension but injury meant those talks haven't started yet.

A divisive figure to say the least but has been a good servant.

Used to be ten years before you got a testimonial 240 appearances in eight years is laughable, he as spent half his career injured or suspended 😆

Last season he was earning £35,000 per week i guess this season reduced by 40-50-60%.

If we get promoted he is not good enough and so let him go BUT give him a testimonial ( he stayed and was offered a move away)

if we do not get promoted the same as above as we do not want him to hold back any young players
Messlier -- sam B Struilk Rodon Spencer // Ampadu- Kamara // - -James rutter Bamford Summerville

Bench: Darlow ---Ayling- - cooper Shackleton -- Gray Anthony Povada Gnoto Piroe

I can only summise that if cooper supposedly turned down a 4 million offer from the Saudis , it was because they actually wanted him to play not sit in the treatment room all season 😆

Absolute legend for us and I'm very happy for him to be club captain and back up left sided CB. He should retire Leeds even if I do think he should have taken the money and gone to Saudi... Wouldn't complain if he got his extra year

Legend 😁

I can think of many words but legend ain't one of them , Bremner was a legend that's why there is a statue of him outside the ground , grow up 😆

Coops & his teammates got mauled by the French tonight, Liam withdrawn with half an hour to go.

Steve Clarke fielded a fringe team, so a heavy defeat was on the cards against the World's best.
