Kalvin will miss England's Nations League games with Italy and Germany due to a shoulder problem, he made need surgery.

The fee we got for Kalvin is turning out to be an expensive one for Citeh bearing in mind he's only play thirteen minutes of football this season.

We definitely used to rush players back before we should.

But KP has missed 29 league matches over the last 3 seasons through injury.

Guy is injury prone.

I knew he'd got a shoulder problem again but i thought he was recovering...hence only13 mins for Citeh. Imagine how we would miss him if he was still with us, at least by selling him we have a replacement instead of doing without a midfielder for months!

Because we never have all positions covered.

To be going into our 3rd season in the PL with no back-up No.9 & no replacement for a LB who is continually injured (and hasn't exactly set the world on fire) is ridiculous at this level.

Square pegs ..... still exist :(

Just hope Tyler remains available for the majority of the season or else we are back to square one in that position too.

Exactly. If we'd kept him, we'd still have Klich and Forshaw jogging for 90 mins and would probably be bottom!

Both may still come into play at some stage of the season, neither could be effective over 90 minutes, they haven't got the legs.

Or suspended.

Without those two we'd be soft as putty down the middle.

As a few of us thought, letting Kalvin go has turned out to be a real positive for the team.

Maybe the board should be given credit for a good move after all?
