The Weekend Premier League Chat - Would have been busy on here!!!!
Villa 1-0 Southampton
Forest 2-3 Fulham
Wolves 0-3 Man City
Newcastle 1-1 Bournemouth
Tottenham 6-2 Leicester
Brentford v Arsenal
Everton v West Ham United
Sadly Leeds, Palace, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manure, Brighton's season has been totally disrupted due to the sad circumstances with the loss of The Queen.
Did anyone expect Fulham to start so well? Eleven points from their first seven games.
So bulk shopping at Aldi doesn't seem to paying off for Cooper's second-rate players
I wish our game vs Forest game was done & dusted, three points in the bag & our position in the table would have looked much more comfortable.
The blessing in disguise was the game against that lot across the Pennines was called off.
The less said about the Villa v Saints game, the better
New signing Diego Costa could make his Wolves debut despite not playing a senior match since December.
What does everybody think of this signing?
Son Heung-min has failed to score in eight league and cup games for Tottenham this season, maybe a opportunity for Son as they face Rodgers foxes.
Are Leicester in trouble?
One point from their opening six games & are currently rock bottom in the Premier League table.
Saturday/Sunday accumulator bet
Wolves v Man City
Newcastle v Bournemouth
Tottenham v Leicester
Brentford v Arsenal
Everton v West Ham United
Re: The Weekend Premier League Chat

Seriously, how good was Summerville last night. I only saw the last 30 mins, but from what I heard, he ws in a different class.
Also, from what I saw of Wilfried gnonto, he looks not just a handful, but a really intelligent player for someone so young.

If Spuds hammer Leicestershire then it could be curtains for Rodgers.
Mind you if they sack him I think they have to pay him over £20M.

Yes Matt, they were impressive, but we have to take in account our 21's were playing Southampton schoolboys whilst we also had Bamford, Ayling Cooper, Firpo, Hjelde along with the likes of Jimmy, Gnonto, Perkins & Gyabi in our ranks.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 10:03 am Seriously, how good was Summerville last night. Saints had taken a 20 man squad to Villa last night.
May i suggest men against boys as excellent as we were.

Brit Museum is one of our faves.
Nice to see the antiquities we looted in the 18th and 19th centuries from the Middle East.
Love Tate Modern too.

Re: The Weekend Premier League Chat
London is fab if you sail there. From the mouth of the River Orwell its 10 hours down the coast to Queenborough (just up the river Medway) wher you spend the night and wait for the tide to flood up the Thames. Then, under the Dartford Bridge, through the Thames flood barrier, round the Millenium Dome, round Canary wharf and then you've got the most wonderful view of Tower Bridge right in front of you. Hang to the right just by the tower hotel into St Katharine Dock. We've spent quite a few weeks
Its so different being in London on the boat, difficult to explain really but I suppose you're in holiday mode and wearing shorts and flip flops
Re: The Weekend Premier League Chat
Newcastle 1 - 1 Bournemouth
Got to be a good result for us, neither has leapfrogged us on points but the barcodes go above us on GD. Bournemouth also on 8 points but still stay one place below us.

Best way to see London by the sound of it. Keep all the unwashed at arms length.
