Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
A life line - thin string but better than nothing
Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
I dont think a point was enough.
But it was something and technically we arent in the relegation zone now sp i will take it
I actually think we had better chances and were unlucky in the end.
The Gelhardt one, Sanchez made much better saves than Meslier did as well..
It was better but imo to little to late, hope to be wrong and if i am Struijk and Joe Gehardt deserve to never buy a pint in Leeds again

Draw sees Everton safe today
Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

You can say that again

At least we have to go out to win now v Bees. Whatever Burnley do v Villa we have to go out to win, there is nothing else.
Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
Need Villa to do Burnley - dreadful relying on other teams.

Still alive thanks to an unbelievable bit of skill from a 19 year old.
At least it goes to the last game now whatever happens on Thursday

Just don't think it's going to be enough.
Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Possibly the most crucial individual goal since the match winner against Bristol secured our promotion from League One.
I think that had we been safely away from relegation then one of the Raphinha efforts or one of the Klich efforts would have hit the back of the net. Though Brighton missed plenty of chances themselves.
Still need things to go our way, but there is still hope. A much better second half as well.

Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

Villa will beat Burnley, but yes we must go for the win and get it

All our bad luck at Brentford was at their old stadium, we're due some Var decisions

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
I know JG has had some injuries, but it's absolutely criminal that he has not been played while Paddy has been out for so long.
Dreadful team selection by Bielsa and Jesse to keep picking the little Scum ba***rd as CF

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
It gives us hope and you never know that could be enough now, doubt it but hope none the less.
Guarantees last day excitement for the neutral - just hope villa are up for it Thursday and win, we then at least know a win at Brentford and Burnley can do nothing about it.

For anyone into xG
We won that match 2.30-2.03.
The two best chances were the Gelhardt and Raphinha ones.

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread
I can see Burnley losing at Villa, but beating Newcastle at home in their last match, which would mean we will need to win at Brentford to stay up.
Everton still not safe as well.
