Re: Raphinha - Bayern rumours denied, potential new deal discussed.
And homegrown players always cost more than overseas imports and by a distance..

Re: Raphinha
Lot of Raph vs Bowen comparisons going on.
Bowen is class but Raph is different gravy.
Love Raph.

Garth Crooks comments
Raphinha: There aren't many footballers I enjoy watching as much as I do Raphinha. He's a throwback to the Rivaldos and Ronaldinhos of yesteryear. The Brazilian's game is so elegant and delightful to watch. Like so many Brazilian players, he treats the ball with the utmost respect, almost as if it were a friend. Without Raphinha, Leeds would not have won at West Ham. Jack Harrison will get all the headlines but there is only one star in Leeds United's show and it's Raphinha.
Did you know? Raphinha created seven chances in Leeds' 3-2 win over West Ham, his best tally in a Premier League match.

Sky Sports reporting West Ham will make a last minute move for Raphinha.
They wouldn't dare sell surely . . . .
I can't imagine Raph being interested in West Ham for 1 moment.
But . . . .

Kev, if he signs a new contract that will be a wonderful January transfer window.Eireleeds1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 9:57 pm Very likely so when he signs a new contract that’ll be considered a wonderful January transfer window
I've been saying all the way through that we have enough in the squad to stay up, and I still believe that. Rapha will go in the summer, and hopefully we'll be £100m richer to strengthen and still be a PL team without having paid over the odds in January for Aaronson.
Glass half full.
Re: Raphinha
Don't expect it's true either but given how much we have messed up this window it feels like a final kick in the balls is due

Re: Raphinha
Yes we have enough quality in the squad but only when they’re fit. Several big players who may not figure till March and a bunch of kids making up a subs bench. Hope you’re right mate but personally believe orta needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat in next few daysCarrick Dave wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 10:13 pm Kev, if he signs a new contract that will be a wonderful January transfer window.
