They can't. If they can't finish the season, they should forfeit their matches.

Strange both Arsenal & Burnley have players away in the African Nations Cup plus sold or loaned players
Nothing to do with covid. They've both basically admitted it's down to injuries and AFCON. Arsenal have just loaned out a 3rd player.

They're going to have to. One team can't finish after everyone else and they can't move the season for one team.

Just relegate them for failing to complete their fixtures.

It really couldn't be any simpler.

Simply have a rule that you can only get a game called of for Covid if you have:

5 players showing positive that have played more than 180 minutes for the first team in League matches this season.

Those 5 players would need to be independently tested and showing positive for Covid.

Every club in the premier league has U23 teams, U18 teams and various others. There is no way a club cannot find enough players to have a full squad even if it consists of a few U23s or U18 players.

Burnley are closing in on talented Croatia attacking midfielder Mislav Orsic and are trying to sign Dutch giant goal machine Wout Weghorst.

Weghorst in particular would be a real cup as since 2018 only Robert Lewandowski has scored.more Bundesliga goals.

Have to say Burnley doing this sort of business makes me nervous.

A prolific striker with a scoring rate of one in two games over the last five seasons in the Bundesliga.

A giant too at 6'6"

The Croatian midfielder looks no mug too, 40 goals in 100 games.

Orsic staying at Dinamo Zagreb. Thank f**k for that.

Everyones the same SG. Liverpool will be hoping manscum fail, Chelski hoping Citeh fail, Manscum hoping Chelski fail and so on. I do think that all fans of all clubs want teams around them to fail....regardless of league position.

Thank god for that!

Always difficult to sign top players in January, clubs don't want to release their best players in mid-season

Guess he realised he didn't want to play in the Championship, regardless of money.

That's what surprised me about Guimaraes going to Newcastle. Throwing away potential European football next season for the Championship?
