Re: Super League 2021
Been a tough first half for The Rhinos 14-4 down , struggled to get into the game for long spells , hopefully that try might give them a lift

Never showed up, so many mistakes poor.
Re: Super League 2021
Expected nothing more.
We haven't been good this season, flattered to deceive on a couple of occasions.

Re: Super League 2021
I know it's not a Superleague game but one of Toulouse or Featherstone Rovers will become a Superleague club later today. The so called million pound game - kick off 6.00 PM live on Sky Sports Arena

Having friends from your neck of the woods this weekend so missed the game. Also missed the Scotland and England games as well. Also put myself on a diet and not drinking
WARNING: During game time, any post I make is not to be taken seriously, neither is it meant as offence. I'm a hot-blooded creature prone to moments of exasperation and expletive.

Re: Super League 2021
If it’s Fev they’ll have a cracking side next year with all the free agents available. Zac Hardaker and half the Trinity team all ripe for picking.

You sound a happy bunny....
I'm always on a diet, but I count calories. So I can still have a drink

Isn't Zac Hardaker trouble?Orange Box wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 10:42 am If it’s Fev they’ll have a cracking side next year with all the free agents available. Zac Hardaker and half the Trinity team all ripe for picking.
They can have half the Wakey team with my blessing!
Re: Super League 2021
One of my best pals is a Featherstone Rovers fan.
I'll be watching at 5pm Swannie
Re: Super League 2021
Toulouse far too strong for Featherstone
Re: Super League 2021
So, another French team in our Superleague now earning our TV revenue whilst English clubs with a history languish in the lower leagues living on scraps. Can anyone tell me why these clubs were allowed/invited to play over here in the first place (this is a serious question by the way, I'd just like to know)
Re: Super League 2021
Down to money, I suspect Swannie. It seems to be a fix by SL & Sky imo!whiteswan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:15 am So, another French team in our Superleague now earning our TV revenue whilst English clubs with a history languish in the lower leagues living on scraps. Toulouse unbeaten, however the commentators conveniently forgot to mention they had played all their games at home as they won't travel, apparently. That was a play-off final which should be played at a neutral venue.
Sadly the odds were stacked against Featherstone with the game not being played on a level playing field.
Re: Super League 2021
It's all wrong in my opinion. English league = English clubs. Not only the French infiltrators but Canadians as well. It's crazy. It has to be money orientated. I feel so sickened for clubs like Featherstone and Batley. Good Yorkshire clubs who don't really stand a chance against what seem to be the money bag outfits.
Just read up on it, apparently French rugby teams can apply to play in the English Leagues as its classed as better quality rugby than the French leagues. What? So how would people feel if Celtic and Rangers ended up in the Premier league replacing two English clubs because the Premier league is better than the Scottish leagues. It's the same thing in my opinion....
Swannie feathers are well and truly ruffled!
