Tackles some difficult contemporary issues through the eyes of the 1960's. Love it.
Excellent drama.

Godless looks like it could be really good, once I get past Lady Mary from Downton as a rancher...

Barbarians is good if you like a historical drama, about the Romans trying to suppress the Germanic tribes. In German with subtitles.

Watching the latest two episodes of Take Us Home now, nice to know it has a happy ending.

My sister keeps recommending this but I can never get past the silliness of the first series. It's no Blackadder in terms of historical comedy.

Not 100% certain btw that it's Shakespeare that Robert Greene was referring to when he used the term "Upstart Crow" in Green Groats Worth of Witte, but it seems likely

Started watching this and am up to the 5th episode I think (when they've got to 'The Beach') - it's good, but would prefer sub-titles to the dubbing

My partner won't watch subtitled things as she likes to be doing something else at the same time and sub titles forces you to never take your eye off the programme. I don't really like dubbed stuff but you get used to it and I grew up watching the Water Margin and Monkey

We're on episode 4 atm, we don't binge watch anything but rotate the likes of Travellers, Mindhunter, Queens Gambit, Godless, Alice in Borderland, Jessica Jones, Hollywood, Salvation, Picard, and Bosch right now...I have a lot of Law and Order recorded too, mainly SVU's..

Film wise got Tenet to watch at some point, looking forward to that, and the Midnight Sky, Welcome To Marwen, Knives out and Dark Waters also.

New series of Russian Doll coming too ...Loved series 1
