Meslier if anybody, thinking Harrison must have been afraid to upset his mate Frank. Usually appreciate his work rate if nothing else but tonight he was appauling.

Our CB's hardly won a ball in the air all night so Cooper high in this poll is a joke.

Chelsea could have scored from three or four headers. I winced every time Chelsea got a corner!

He made some decent tackles and interceptions, by far the best of the back 4.

Think I have to agree...he had good spells but at fault for at least one of the goals..Difficult for him with a new CB partner though

Right now it's basically a championship defence which is always going to be difficult for us against the top teams. Plenty of suicide defensive moments & in the air we were as weak as a blown up paper bag. On the other hand Chelsea were very powerful in that department

Our defence requires a proper repair job on it, given time more quality will arrive!

The worry is three of them are 30 next year (lol makes me feel old!), so they'll need replacing soon. Changing the defence too much is not something that usually has benefits.
