I looked at the line up and thought Hull were favourites, First time most have these have played since March I would have thought and it has the feel of a U21 game

If we play shite the silver lining could be that Radz gets his wallet open and gets a few more players in.

I still can't believe Koch is not playing? Wtf

Nobody pushing for a first team start on the evidence of this. MB should threaten to loan them to Colin, Harris or Millwall.

Not the players fault at all, how many proper games do we think these players have had since March?

Not sure what Bielsa is playing at. It's the second game of the season, why do we need so many changes? Now we're undercooked for Saturday. Throwing away another chance of a cup run and for what?

I don't think it says that at all as it would be one or maybe two going into the first team if needed.

Poor, poor kids at cb clearly are miles off being ready (as you would expect given their age) and Shacks at right back defensively not great, i dont know who is dm but they arent very good at it.

Making Wilks look like Messi.

Bogusz has had some glimpses.

Ali and Douglas not done much really.

Roberts the same ( needs to stop trying flicks, you arent Mbappe).

Rodrigo tbf to him has tried to link but no service. Must say i do like that when Poveda has tried to play him in twice Rodders has applauded the effort.

Keep it as it is atm, let Roberts, Ali, Douglas, Poveda, Rodders get minutes, they need to do better though players like Ali, Douglas, Roberts, Rodders to but he has had nothing to feed off.

He must have a plan and that plan would be to get a look at certain players and get some minutes into their legs. I doubt he's looking to win the game but the subs at HT might tell us.

first half anasylis and i dont want to depress anyone here, but shite... in this first half there is noone capable of breaking through to the first team and that goes for roberts and rodrigo. in fact on rodrigo 27m id rather have bamford up front cant beleive im saying this. the only player worth his salt on that pitch is MALIK WILKS he is running the show. we need new players and quality signings to survive in the premier league i know this cup doesnt matter but we are getting battered. lets hope somehow the second half is a better story.

Eleven changes looks a step too far, need some experience in that defensive 3

Even Struijk in at CDM could make all the difference

Not fussed about the result, but an ideal opportunity for Koch and Strujik to play together again.
Game time for some of the others seems sensible.

He should be. 2 defeats in a row and losing at home to a lower league team is not a good look.

Bielsa threw away the cup last year v Stoke and we lost an opportunity to give more fringe/young players a chance.

We're not big enough to disrespect the cups. Fans want trophies and cup runs.

Looks like an U21 game, feels like an U21 game. Hull are fighting for every inch like they've got something to prove.

Still think we'll go on to win this though, they're going to be shattered second half.

After the positivity of Saturday this feels like a big step backwards. I don't get why we need that many changes. Lots of the first team need game time as well as these dudes.

Surely a good cup run would give our usual bench some competitive minutes, which is being thrown in the bin here :duno:
