1964white wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 8:29 pm Norfolk I'll be voting for one of my all-time favourite songs against my own nomination. This beauty was nominated in Round 2 only to be knocked out by 'While My Guitar Gently Sleeps' in the semi-finals, hopefully it can go one better second time around,

I wish I'd have given it a second airing now
I didn't check to see whether it had been nominated before but assumed it had. Can't remember where I heard it the other day and made a mental note for a nomination.

Thanks for the vote by the way :)

Given the number of Joker songs we have these days not a surprise so many get through. (7, the same as last round)

That must make me in the 'Minority' group then.

Got to be happy with that, very shocked with the 60's result.

Played the L S album the track came from, enjoyed it too. A mix of Seasick Steve and Dope Lemon on first impressions.

His debut album, Grant was encouraged to record the album by one of my favourite bands Midlake.

Almost bought it a few years ago, for some reason I didn't :duno:

I had £150 to spend from my birthday money I received, 'Queen of Denmark' is on my ordering list
