Re: Jean-Kévin Augustin- Injured

Post by Cjay »

Big Kev trained back end of last week and is now over his injury.

Hopefully the break will give him a chance to get some fitness back, he can always ask the club for a fitness plan im sure they could do that?

Still hope we get to see him at his best, clearly talented and gifted just needs to get sharp and fit.

Fire us up Big Kev :) :) :) :)

keV needs game time to get absolutely match fit but can't see him getting it unless Paddy is injured as it's too late in the day in terms of games remaining. We've got this far with Paddy so I'm sure MB won't rock the boat unnecessarily. At least kev should be fitter than he was which improves our strength in depth and I've no doubt that the whole squad will be up & at it to push us over the line once we resume.

Promotion will be our only opportunity this season

It's curtains if the FA/FL pull the rug out from under our feet :(

Positive 64 positive. I think they'll do everything possible to get the games played even if behind closed doors.

We’d be starting g from scratch I reckon. Lose Bielsa, Philips White Klich Augustin. But we’d be decent again, Radz would be gone too

Another three weeks of no football and they all will need to get match fit again.

Yes, the only good thing is every club has the same problem but they will have had a long rest so maybe our superior fitness won't count for much more like it usually does.

Nah, the club is set up well and we’ll have a new owner who will have us competitive. We’re going up anyway so no need to worry

Season can now be extended beyond the 1 of June so looks like they will try to complete. Positive

Anyone else really excited to see JKA?

He has really impressed me since the break.

He may not be here next season, he had barely featured, he hasnt been given a chance and could have thought "sod it, i will just chill".

No guarantees he will even get the opportunity to kick a ball, league could still be voided or whatever.

But he has worked his butt off to get in probably the best shape of his life for potentially nothing.

He has worked so hard despite knowing it could be for nothing.

All credit to him and does put any questions about his attitude to bed.

Well done JKA.

Augustin will certainly be fitter than when we initially signed for us although he'll still be a bit rusty as he won't be match fit

Could have a big say in our last nine games should the season resume

Will any of the team be match fit? In theory his chance of starting or getting at least as much game time as bamford should be 50/50. No reason at all for him not to get a chance if we resume, assuming we actually brought him in to play??

If nothing else should be an option off the bench, something we didn't have before.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Phil Hay @PhilHay_
Hearing that Jean-Kevin Augustin has suffered a recurrence of his hamstring strain. Not confirmed by Leeds but sounds like a set-back for him. #lufc

Hope that is the only worry we have.
