Have you heard the Delany and Bonnie...I like the juxtaposition for this poll, always liked both tracks a lot
I wanted to flash this watch, I flash it all the time. It's my antique pocket watch and it makes me look British...and I need that for my analysis. It is a gorgeous gold pocket watch however and I'm very proud of it. You see my grandfather, on his death bed, ..sold me this watch!

There's an incredible warmth to her voice no one else has managed to come close to, someone once described it as haunting to me and that pretty much nails it...Superstar is the track for me that illustrates that the best, and it's a classic cover of the Delaney and Bonnie song also nominated

Round 24

50's/60's
Elvis Presley 'Suspicious Minds' (just an absolute classic)

70's
Magazine 'Rhythm of Cruelty' (one of my favourite punk bands - from their excellent and somewhat under-rated second album, Secondhand Daylight)

90's
The Offspring 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)

2000 to 2009
Fall Out Boy 'This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race'

2010 to 2019
Billie Eilish 'Ocean Eyes' (started listening to BE largely after reading faaip's recommendations and this is my favourite track, one of her earlier ones)

"Also :

Norfolk, 1304, John, Gandi, Faaip and Azkal have one additional nomination only, to be used in whatever decade they choose to use their extra song courtesy from myself as an apology for my blunder in the last round."
