Hope we are looking in South America where the pull of Bielsa may really mean something.

Needing players who know the league is a myth, just need to get the best players we can who suite the system.

Grosicki released by Hull. Bielsa can't have been other than impressed with his performance at ER. Just the sort of pacy winger we need (9 goals and 12 assists in 39 appearances last season). His wages would be a stumbling block to most Championship clubs, but no fee and £25k per week should be within our remit. 30 years old - we should get Klich in his ear "Bielsa got me back in the Polish national team, he can do the same for you."

Yeah I've said before we need to do this. Not accepting mediocre loans that are mid table Championship at best. We should be looking to RM, Barca, Benfica, Porto etc clubs that always have young South American talent.

Franchu at Real Madrid is at the top of my list as a replacement for Saiz. He reminds me of Hazard in his style of play.

I read somewhere that Lasogga had the best shots to goals ratio in the Championship last season. With him in the team this season, we'd have gone up comfortably. Sign him up

Buendia, Barnes, James, those 3 players and we'd have been up.

Identifying players doesnt seem our problem, signing them does.

I'd love 1 or 2 talented young south american wingers with flair and pace.

Id even accept they may be inconsistent but it would be exciting.

Yeah wouldn't like someone who scored 10 goals in 21 starts (11 times subbed off, 10 times subbed on so that sort of cancels itself out). 10 goals in 21 matches at a completely new team, in a league you haven't played in, in a country you haven't played in and being short of match fitness.

Yeah definitely not worth considering on a free.

This is a team that once scored 3 goals from 112 efforts, but some fans still think we don't need reinforcements up top.

Stop fixating on that - their (now resigned) chairman refused to sign off on it despite all of the terms being negotiated.

I'd be interested to see Lasogga train with Bielsa, but I definitely wouldn't commit to anything until we've seen that he's willing and able to get to the acceptable fat levels/fitness required.

They're pretty good tbf, especially compared to some other sites. If Brentford are interested too, then he must be a good player. Benrahma, Canos, Maupay all players I'd have loved us to sign and all on the cheap.
