We could say the same. We gifted them the first goal and took too long to make the subs.

Didn't see this. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 7:24 pm So your advocating hoofball, all that does is leave us sitting in our half, faced with wave after wave of pressure
Big difference between direct and vertical and hoofball.

I maintain:
Petition to only play in white all season. White = 15 points. Other colours = 0 points.
Sadly we won't be in white next week.

Hoofball is smashing the ball forward in Hope towards a big bloke and Hope for the best. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 7:47 pm If you're not passing out you're just clearing. there is no middle ground. Can't be
Direct is getting it forward quickly with a plan and movement and such
An overlap as it rarely involves passing it around at the back but not the same.
Passing around at the back cost us 2 goals incidentally, neither happen if it goes forward quicker.

I remember, after the loss against Villa (?), Farke being made to acknowledge the upcoming run of three fixtures as a disaster waiting to happen.
He said, why can’t we take points against those teams.
Keep her lit Daniel.

Regardless of the arguments over what the tactics should be the positive from this week aside the points is that for the first time in a while we have options, not just different players in the same positions but real tactical variations that can be switched in games.

Similar to Ao's goal v the blunts last season

Yup, Kalvin used to play long balls under Bielsa. He wasn't hoofing it.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 7:48 pm Hoofball is smashing the ball forward in Hope towards a big bloke and Hope for the best.

Thats just picking on Farke for the sake of it.
A sloppy pass. Not formation.
