My initial vote is 80% though I may change it.

I'm disappointed because I thought they'd be much better and have a clear, genuine plan for the club. So far, I personally haven't seen that, or at least one that I can fully buy into.

The rest of me thinks that, well, I've been let down by owners and chairmen so many times before who come into LUFC promising the world. So I am also, sadly, not surprised.

Too early to say given they took over after relegation and now this is their first season back in he PL. If we manage to stay up and they start the stadium redevelopment then suddenly everything would look very different.

So I'm not disappointed and I'm certainly not angry but like all fans we could have spent a bit more and our recruitment also might have been better but there's 19 other clubs in the PL all spending money and giving it their best shot as well.

I'll answer 10% then at the moment but that would change if we don't improve the squad in January as it's clear we need some help.

We've been here previously, so I'm not expecting much in January, Jammy.

I’m certainly not angry.
Underwhelmed a bit though.

They inherited a shambles. We were in a total mess after Radz and Orta did their thing.

49ers did a good job to steady the ship and get promoted. They seem measured. I don’t have enough insight to know how good or bad the back room team are.

Not landing one of the priority target strikers in the window could bite us badly. That was definitely on the recruitment team and the board.

I went 70% same as 1964white, I think there biggest mistake so far is the choice of a rookie recruitment team in their/our biggest season in years.

40%.

Don’t and probably won’t know what goes on behind the scenes, for example, other clubs may have pull the plug or suddenly asked for more on certain transfers, but disappointed that we didn’t have a better end to the transfer window all the same.
On non transfer stuff, they seem to be saying the right things and at least have given us some hope regarding the ER upgrade…

I went 50% For me its still very early in the season to get too critical of either the manager, board, players or background people. There is a very fine line between success and failure and i dont think we have gone much above or below that line to date.
If we hadnt had such bad luck with the own goal against Fulham or conceding that late goal against Bournemouth then the extra 3 points would have seen us in a much better position.
On the other hand if we handt been given that penalty against Everton ( and on another day it could easily have not been given ) then of course our position would look an awful lot worse.
We could have been a lot worse off, and could have been a lot better off, plenty of other teams can say the same thing.

The board allowed the MD to move to Everton along with a recruitment person and left our recruitment head as a clueless guy and our new MD is also clueless. We need a much better management team and a chairman who spends 100% on LUFC rather than 50/50 between ourselves and Rangers

disagree with your comments and i would ask if you think DF can {a} change formations when required (b) drop players who do not perform (c) not play players in incorrect positions i.e. a midfield player on the wing !

Because he never has

They didn’t have the nerve to fully back the manager as I believe they knew he’d eventually get the chop.

They didn’t have the nerve to sack a manager in the summer after promotion.

They didn’t get the targets they were after. Sunderland made them look like amateurs.

Shown some promise in the future development of the ground.

Will mean fook all though if we can’t stay in the division.

Not that impressed tbh.

This poll is one of those ever changing feast situations.

Not sure I can actually quantify my concerns into a percentage. But it would be low.

They have got us promoted in two seasons after a calamitous end to the previous ownership. All the fan angst is projected onto the 49’rs as a result of our current position in the league and to a large degree the current performance of DF.

Things can swing rather quickly one way or the other after each game.

I can see the development upgrade stalling if we are relegated.
