Obviously not good enough, but still a shitty way to treat him at the end of the day. Nothing less than public humiliation. Good luck, Championship clubs will want him now he won't have the huge wages.

Farewell Paddy.

I wasn't keen on you as a striker but your humanity won me over.

You no doubt will make a great career in punditry if you so wish.

With the departure of Patrick Bamford makes me stop and think how players are treated. I get the paid up contract situation and the high wages needing to be taken off the books its all business and that's fine. Even though I am not a massive fan of Patrick Bamford somehow it would be good to see him just come the pitch for the last 5 minutes to say farewell to the fans and club. With the amount of games and goals there is no doubt the Patrick has served the club well and now at the end of his career a proper farewell would be fitting. Players are paid well for their services but would it really kill Leeds to mark the end of career with more than a pay off and goodbye.

When Paddy signed in 2018 (after 8 clubs in six years) I thought he would last 10 minutes.

Happy to be proved wrong and I wish him all the best.

So basically he has departed in the manner I suggested on my post - 20th July.

Tell the ITK Waccoe dude. There is a difference between football intelligence rather than having a gossip line 😂😂🤫

Paddy B in talks with Sheffield United over a short term deal.

He has been training with the club for a while.

He also has picked his song to sing as his induction

His old mate Frank allowed him to train with Coventry lately, sort of surprised he didnt end up there. Wilder will make him pay for that chant

Well we certainly know the track record on that front.
Hope he at least demonstrates he can stay fit and have some impact.

It’s not good when pro’s in any sport have to pack it in because of injury.

I’m glad Paddy got another chance at playing, there’s not one of us who would turn down a wage packet after getting injuries at work and I think he was always genuine in trying to play again. Good luck Paddy, hope you score a bagful.

Bamford to the Blades, you couldn't make it up. All the spectators either side of the goal are worried.... :)
