honestly, today its been 14 degrees. Zero snow while you've had tons, according from mates in Queensbury telling me. The Galloway hilltops look beautiful from my bedroom window. Don't get me wrong, up til today its been bitter.mentalcase wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 4:08 pm Whats the snow like up there apart from white, we still have plenty around here although it's thawing fast, the lakes are unfreezing and the main roads are clear, still poor on the tops though.
I was at Dunbar about 4 yrs back on the hill tops and it was a good job I had a 4x4 otherwise I would've been stuck and thats not that far up Scotland.

Honestly might be an idea.... Cup games bring a different shine to the fanbase for some reason. More than a league game I reckon.
Definitely be some scuffles outside the ground. Went away to Millwall a few years back.... Definitely dodgy walking to the game as a group but nothing happened. Cardiff away though lol... Hold ya hats.

My 4x4 got me through 10 inches of snow and the massive drifts., next the floods lower down the valley.

It’s all so well organised now, I doubt much will happen outside the ground.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 6:17 pm Honestly might be an idea.... Cup games bring a different shine to the fanbase for some reason. More than a league game I reckon.

People like that don't deserve to own a 4x4, why have one if you can't drive one.

Haven't been since pre Covid unfortunately (live in midlands and used to go 10-15 games a season since 2001) as dad can't get about as well as he once did so we watch as a family at home now unfortunately as opposed to going. Looking to get back into it now though as lads just been born and gotta bring him up rightBarlow Boy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 8:53 pm It’s all so well organised now, I doubt much will happen outside the ground.

Haven’t missed a home game since 2011, and other than a lick of paint here and there, a few changes to food availability in the ground and the introduction of the fan zones I can’t think of much else that has changedElKapitan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 7:59 pm Haven't been since pre Covid unfortunately (live in midlands and used to go 10-15 games a season since 2001) as dad can't get about as well as he once did so we watch as a family at home now unfortunately as opposed to going. Crap beer at inflated prices.
Re: Segregation at ER
Haha lucky git, good going that! miss going to games I really do, just bloody difficult to get tickets at shortish notice now I've found. Remember league one and could pretty much turn up on the dayBarlow Boy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 8:06 pm Haven’t missed a home game since 2011, and other than a lick of paint here and there, a few changes to food availability in the ground and the introduction of the fan zones I can’t think of much else that has changed![]()

Good to know, didn't expect much to have but heard Radz/49rs were pushing to bring the fan experience up to scratch. Any way to buy tickets on here do you know?

I used to sit in the West stand with my Mum. I had my hip flask with port and brandy ready for half time plus a nice cigar. Those were the days....80's.....

Indeed Swannie, having a pint and watching a game you can’t beat it. As you will know, you can still do this at rugby grounds.

It sounds great, and most of the time it is absolutely fantastic to meet my mates every home game, have a couple of pints and, obviously, guaranteed to get into the ground.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 11:43 pm Haha lucky git, good going that! miss going to games I really do, just bloody difficult to get tickets at shortish notice now I've found. I attended the majority of the League One stadiums, so easy to obtain tickets then.
Thank god, I don't have to fight for home ticket. It's only a few weeks before we have to renew our season-tickets for 2025/26.

Question 1. Would you like to upgrade to corporate sir ?
Question 2. Are you sure you don't want to upgrade to corporate sir ?
Question 3. Are you really sure you don't want to upgrade to corporate sir ?
