Set my alarm to see the sun rise. ☔️
Sadly, a throwback to working shifts.

Thought you were having a late night instead of an early morning.

The Old Man on Disney. Bridges and Lithgow in supreme form and it's been excellent so far

I quite enjoyed The Day of The Jackal series starring Eddie Redmayne, the soundtrack was well matched too.

Thanks to those who recommended the ITV drama, Joan.

Didn’t think it would be my thing, but enjoyed it. Must have spent most of their budget on cigarettes though 😳😳😳

The upcoming Salt Path looks like it might be very good. Up there with The Last Bus and The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, but this one's main star will be the South West Coast path

I'm guessing some will moan about the accent though

The missus is going away for a week tomorrow so going for a re-run of Band of Brothers.

Agree with others that The Sopranos is the best ever series - brilliant characters!

Nah, Boardwalk Empire is far better.

American Primeval was great, hope it gets a 2nd season.
Most westerns lack the brutality of those times.

I'll mention Slow Horses again as it's up there as one of Gary Oldman's best work.

AMERICAN PRIMEVAL on Netflix. Wow. I’ve just binged all 6 episodes in one sitting (my bum is numb).

A Western, very similar in quality and storytelling to REVENANT (also wow) it relates parallel tales of two strong women trying to survive the civil war conflict between the US Army and the Mormons. I didn’t know this history but it seems the Osmonds weren’t the worst thing these guys inflicted on the world.

A good cast, one of those where you recognise the actor but can’t actually name most of them without the aid of IMDB.

Edit note: previously posted on a pirate thread, apologies if you’ve read this before.

Judging by tastes (I don't like The Sopranos/Breaking Bad/Walking Dead/The Wire) here this will be a poor list for most but off the top of my head

Halo
Will Trent
Fallout
Kaos
House of the Dragon
Paris Has Fallen
Lincoln Lawyer
Three Body Problem
The Night Agent (new series coming soon)

Black Doves is excellent so far too, not got to the end of that yet

enjoyed Departure too, though a lot of plot holes (doesn't bother me tbf) and dodgy dialogue
