Jill also bought me a £200 camera (which is relatively cheap in comparison to others) yesterday, for one of my Xmas presents --- My new hobby.

Done a 7 miler this morning, over t' moors through the swamps above ogden moor in the mist and fog where I used to walk my dog.
Gonna have to sling my boots now, theyr'e not fit for purpose any longer, I should know, a good pair of boots makes a massive difference.

Beautiful afternoon at Sewerby, so serene you could hear a pin drop
Crispy bacon roll, homemade cake & a proper mug of ground coffee you couldn't better it around Bridlington.
The wonderful Flamborough cliffs
Oyster Catchers in a Sewerby field.
A lovely walk back to the edge of Bridlington.

Went to meet some old pals at rudding park all afternoon, a place where Eddie Gray often visits, plus where Archie used to be a regular.
A good meal and a relaxed atmosphere drinking.

Thinking about taking my geraniums up before the forecast snow tomorrow. Anybody any overwinter tips? I’ve tried lots of different methods, with varying success.

Pot them up & store them in a frost/snow free place, such as a garage, greenhouse or conservatory. They may continue to bloom in the latter two places.Orange Box wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 11:23 am Thinking about taking my geraniums up before the forecast snow tomorrow. Anybody any overwinter tips?
