There was a nice trademark curling Bamford run tonight, didn't come off but it's something different. He's a player that does need width on the pitch

I think I will post my scores for once.

Mes 6
Bogle 7
Rodon 7.5
Striujk 7.5
Firpo 5 ( his passing was pretty solid, but he was easily dispossessed and he had a great chance to get a shot away but did a bizarre unnecessary flick - rather than take it at a nice height on the volley, underlines his other foot is to stop him falling over less often.
Gruev 4 ( not on the pitch long enough, but as he started I will give him a score)
Tanaka 6.5
Aaronson 7.2
Largie 6.8
Gnonto 8
Joseph 5

Rothwell 6.5

The other subs were not on long enough.

So Rothwell has received 4s & 5s, even though he produced 25 decent pieces of play.

Gruev made one decent pass & lost possession twice in the 15 minutes he was on the pitch & receives 6/10.

Sorry, I don't see where we are coming from?

Is Rothwell the new scapegoat?

Meslier, Firpo, Gruev, Joseph & the four subs were definitely worse than Rothwell.

Its a few hours ago in my memory but i thought we played well again without getting the rub of the green. (Willy & Rodon) I think that's the first team i have watched this season who believed they could beat us and we still looked for large parts a class above. I am sure the bbc Norwich comms said they are unbeaten in 20 or something like that at home. So its a decent point in that context.

Meslier 5: He looked a little unsure at times and a few loose kicks. The penalty looked like he could just step to the side and boot it away but as a 6ft6 giant being right below him must be a nightmare.
Bogle 6.5: They caught us on the break a few times down both sides. Got forward when he could.
Rodon 7: Big Joe is all in we know that. Poor defensive work in front of him left him little choice but to commit.
Struijk 7.5: A few loose passes and positional lapses but he plays the game in a calm controlled manner.
Firpo 5.5: I think Firpo is struggling with something or Farke as told he to hang back because of Rama? Either way they made a mess of the tackle leading up to the penalty.
Gruev: Another injury in midfield.
Tanaka 7: He looks a good player and will improve.
Ramazani 7.5: Nice finish and looked lively for the time he was on. I think Firpo should have taken charge of the tackle.
Aaronson 7: Broke forward with the ball really well. Should have done better with that chance in the second half.
Gnonto 8.5: Best player on the park by a mile first half faded a little after that. Unlucky with that chance he made out of nothing.
Joseph 5.5: Its Bamford all over again isn't it. He needs more time to establish himself and i am willing to be patient with him.

subs
Rothwell 7: Coming in from the cold i thought he did well. Ok he gave away a few loose passes that could have cost us but he needs game time but i thought he was positive in most of his play.

The late subs killed the momentum but we needed fresh legs with tough games coming up and we need this long season to be a squad season. Time for the fringe players to up their games.

You have definitely called our three poorest starters correctly.

A big  with your comments on Rothwell, 1000.
