Strange how Kalvin is considered some joke footballer now, yet England had their best tournament when he started every minute.

He's what is now known as a QB....worth his weight in gold if he gets fitness and form back... Well and truly screwed over by Pep and City

Southgate is just the next generation Allardyce type safety first bloke.

Except Big Sam is actually a better coach.
Big Sam has the only 100% win rate as England manager 😮

Wonder what his next move will be. Would like to have him at Leeds. He'd probably fill a Farke role really well. The 6 or the 8. But pretty sure he'll want to stay at premier league level. And money. Especially as Southgate basically said he misses him.

Shearer gets paid a collosal amount, all coming from the money forcibly paid by the majority of Britain via the license fee. Talks a load of shite as if he is some sort of tactical genius rather than the d*ckhead who's only managerial job saw him get Newcastle relegated.

He chose to leave. He held us to ransom over City. He wouldn't go anywhere else.

He needs to go abroad to rebuild his career away from the media spotlight. I can't believe he chose West Ham over Juventus! Really poorly advised.

How does Pulisic get into a conversation that started with Messi and Maradona?

Or even Pulisic and Bellingham . . . .

Don’t get bothered by it too much. Typical ignorant American soccer media, hyping up our best player into undeserved echelons. Pulisic is great, just not elite. And Alexi Lalas is a professional troll who actually influences the dialogue beforehand and during these segments.

On last night’s Argentina-Canada watch along with Just Joe, his guest Gabe (the American), noted this, as well, in fact stating that every American can’t stand listening to him…a point I completely agree with.

You should go look for some clips of the awkward interactions between Clint Dempsey and Alexi from the Qatar WC. Clearly, Clint can stand Alexi. And btw, Clint was a baller…one of my all-time favorite US players…if only he played for Leeds, he would’ve been a fan fave for sure.

He's a good player Pulisic, like him actually but comments like that just open him up for ridicule which isn't fair.

I remember Lalas from when we had Mckennie and co, couldn't keep his mouth shut for five minutes.

Great player Dempsey, remember him at Fulham probably the best American Premier league player ever.

France look a classy side in every position.

I still fancy Spain to win it though.
