McDonald’s ! Couldn’t fault him for the City move, don’t think there’s many out there who wouldn’t have taken the chance. Pep ruined him & his confidence, would love to see him going to a club with a manager who could get him back to his best. Don’t think there’s a place for him at Leeds but I reckon DF could work with him given the chance.

The kind of run he'd had since leaving Leeds United, putting aside his motivation and decision making since he is where he is because it is of his own making, you have to wonder if he might decide to jack it all in and do something else with his life. Not many options for him it seems to me - depends on how hungry he is

He was a pretty average Championship midfielder.

Bielsa came in, made him super fit and gave him a highly regimented and choreographed role.

KP shone in this system for a few years.

Take him away from it without the supreme fitness and almost robotic coaching and he reverts to type?

Wouldn't be the first player who looked a world beater for a few years for a certain manager but faded when out of it.

The England vote he won was a public vote hijacked by Leeds fans.

We really think that highly of ourselves? We've lost Leeds fans "hijacked polls a lot of times before that so Kalvin (who was better than Rice for England for that period) won it fair and square. You don't think Manure/City/Liverpool have fans that vote multiple times in polls?

Kalvin is a top class DMF/Sweeper, who was left to rust by City and who didn't want him for that position anyway. He's now suffering from lack of game time and more importantly confidence, plus Moyes doesn't have the ability or imagination to integrate him. I think footballers are people not machines, they suffer from the same doubts/fears we all do and it will always affect performance

As I say he needs to come home, take a pay cut and re-establish himself. If both players are at peak I don't think Ampadu is quite as good as Kalvin.... and boy could we do with the old KP now with nothing at DMF...

Not convinced he is that good myself tbh, appreciate what he did for us but being decent in 1 system for 1 manager is a Red flag.

Pretty sure we also hi-jacked a game where an ex player of ours was playing and he won motm, maybe was Ben White when he was back at Birghton, and also some of the foreign matches to vote for Alioski etc,
