Meslier 7
Ayling 7
Koch 7
Wober 7
Firpo 7
Adams 6 a few stray passes, maybe this is an Adams 6 and any other player gets a 7 because I expect more, he's good.
McKennie 7 a much better game from McKennie
Aaronson 7
Harrison 4 wasteful
Summerville 8 best player
Rutter 6 frustrating, he feels like a talented u21 getting a chance in the first team - still much better than Bamford.
Joseph 7
Gnonto 7
Greenwood 7 - feels generous as he played 10 minutes, but his free kicks always cause other teams issues

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Meslier.. 8..One excellent save, no chance with the goal, nice header on target.
Ayling.. 7..Worked hard, caught out of position a few times early on with Chilwell runs.
Koch.. 7...Solid performance again.
Wobber.. 7.Calm and solid.
Firpo.. 7...Continued his improvement. Got forward well.
Adams.. 7...Gave everything as always. Unlucky with attempt to find top corner.
Mackennie.. 7...Some driving runs. Seems slow to pull the trigger with shot.
Aaronson... 6...Had a good first half, but started to fade in second.
Harrison.. 3..Very poor. Either missing from the game completely, gave the ball away, caught in possession or over hit pass when in a good position. Must be dropped for next game.
Summerville... 8...Best player. Very sharp, speedy and committed.
Rutter.... 7...Did not get much service, a few nice touches but inclined to hold the ball and get caught in possession.
Gnonto... 6...Seems to have lost his spark a little last few games.
Joseph.. 6...One shot at goal late on, but not given much service.
Greenwood... 6..No time really to make an impact. Does give us a much better delivery from corners and free kicks.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Meslier 7.5 - His best game for a while. Not at fault on the goal. A couple of outstanding saves.
Ayling 7 - got better as the game wore on
Koch 7 - Solid. Just solid.
Wober 7 - See Koch. These two are turning into a very good pairing
Firpo 7.5 - Quickly developing into one of the first names on the team sheet. A remarkable improvement over the last month.
Adams7 - He and McKennie were up against it today, but held their own. Bossed the midfield at times.
McKennie 7 - See Adams
Aaronson 7 - 8 in the first half, 6 in the second. Ran out of steam
Harrison 5 - pretty much non-existent
Summerville 7.5 - Along with Firpo, the best we had out there.
Rutter 6 The next Bamford? Does everything well except score.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Meslier.. 7..still a little passive coming off his line for balls in the air but made a fine save
Adams 7.. incredible work rate..a real terrier but can't deliver a decisive pass forward
Ayling 6.. picked on in the first half but came into the game
Firpo 6.5 Ok
Aaronson 7.5 Was active on both ends of the pitch and anything we created in the first half was through him
Harrison.4 Honestly didn't know he was on the pitch until his failed free kick..poor and should have been off at half
Wober..7 strong game as usual. Has really solidifies our back line
Koch ..7 Did well
Summerville 7.5 Loves attacking and taking players on but offers little on defensive end
Rutter 6 Ok but not the answer going forward. Paid about 20 million pounds too much for him
Bamford 9 Didn't play but at least we didn't have to see him miss a sitter
Mckennie 6.5 Worked hard going box to box . Needs a bit more creativity. Shouldn't have been making a man a meter taller than him?
Javi..Some questionable subs .. Overall I like him and hope he can help save us

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Meslier 8: Much better today looked back to his near his best. Distribution excellent and nearly scored at the end.
Ayling 8: Good all round game from Bill today. He got done with the Crossfield ball i few times early on but seemed to sort it out as the game wore on. Good forward well i think it was his ball back in the box that gave us our best chance.
Koch 7: A few loose passes but otherwise solid again. Nothing he could do for their goal.
Wober 8: Solid and reliable. Its a shame the lads at the back are not getting the rewards for their hard work.
Firpo 8: Can't knock it again. He does seem really slow at times but when he does get there he's far more measured in his tackling.
Adams 9: I thought he was back to his competitive best today. Not having Roca at the side of him meant he got thru a load of work. Always available to receive the ball and kept it nice and simple today.
McKennie 7: Some good stuff at times played his part without really getting a hold on the game.
Aaronson 7: Lively first half but we need better for that position.
Harrison 5: Lousy first half improved a little in the second. That cross second half cross.....Well made us all cross.
Summerville 9: The best and most consistent i have seen him, Chelski couldn't get near him. He was at the races today just a shame he didn't come away with a win.
Rutter 7: He's not really a ball shielding CF but he's got great feet when he gets on the turn. Goals make prizes as he got many in him. Now Bambi is crocked its a lot to ask a 20 year old and he needs a goal quickly.
subs
Joseph 5: Never got into the game.
Gnonto 6: Direct running as usual but like the rest of them poor final ball.
Greenwood 7: Cameo but i thought he did well.

Rutter Cannot understand your comment he is our most expensive player WHY is too much expected ?

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Can't believe some of the scores here. Some people giving players 8 & 9 in a game we lost and didn't score a goal against a team short of confidence and playing with the badly defies belief!!!!

Get stick if I score to low or to high . . Can't win

Probably being a bit kind but so sick of giving low scores, drained from a crap season.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Ratings are subjective. I always take into consideration the level of opponents. And Chelski a mid-table team but having spent a fortune with countless international's on their books should still be beating a team in 17th.
One poorly marked set-piece was the only thing that separated us at the end.

I start with a baseline 6, that's my not done much right, not done much wrong score. Then the good and bad gets factored.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Player ratings
Based on watching on a stop and start stream:
Meslier 7: didn’t do much wrong and one absolutely crucial save. Looked after his area well. Must learn when to pass short or just hoof up field.
Ayling 6.5: slow start but eventually got going and did everything that was expected of him including getting forward well.
Koch 7: solid
Vober 7: solid
Firpo 6: I’m still not keen but held his own.
Adams 6: gets around the park and tackles well but when he wins the ball his distribution is not great.
McKennie 6: same as Adams, his passing is often too sloppy.
Aaronson 5: tried hard but nothing much came off, ran out of steam. Starting to look a bit lightweight for this level.
Harrison 3: very poor.
Summerville 7: clever quick feet got him some joy today but still a bit lightweight and defensively poor.
Rutter 4: had one decent chance which he messed up, doesn’t look value for money yet.
Gnonto 6: not at his best but still livened things up when he came on.
Joseph 4: failed to get fully involved.
Greenwood 6: started to influence things in the little time he had.
