Stokio wound up the ref via the then media. Talked about Leeds thugs that needed watching, strong ref required he said. Leeds got nothing from the ref that day.

I cried more the year before when we won it

Good luck to the lad.

Personally, I’m not convinced in him over 90 minutes but a great option from the bench. Hopefully, he gets some good game time up there.

Good luck Joffy. I hope he smashes it and comes back and becomes a first team starter.

Wishing Joffy you the best of luck

Hope he scores plenty of goals to secure a play-off place for the Mackems.

Ross Stewart the main striker at Sunderland (10 goals this season) picked up a nasty looking injury yesterday which is a suspected Achilles rupture and could be out for some time.

So Joe is next man up (all be it Sunderland are trying to get Elliot Simms back from Everton).

Great opportunity for Joffy this.

He needs to make that step from super sub to starter

Not really a striker more of a second striker .... but hopefully he makes it work though would like to see them add a pure striker for him to play off.

Ex-Citeh academy kid Patrick Roberts looks a pacy, tricky winger & should lay goals on a plate for Joffy.

Scored his 1st goal today.

They feel sorry for him but has to be said they don't seem overly impressed.

Seems nonsense now to have sent him on loan - to be replaced by someone who's not a goalscorer and not 1st team ready. Could have gone down last season without Joffys contributions.

If you are neither superfast, quick, or tall, you need to be extra special elsewhere to make it in the PL.. Gelhardt may not be good enough. Rutter has more upside.

Rutter has more upside in the long term. Gelhardt has more upside today.
