Meslier - 6.5 - lost a point for the error and nothing much to do, two stock saves IIRC
Shackleton - 7 - Booked but an ok game
Llorente - 6 - Poor under pressure I thought and decision making but we've seen that before
Cooper - 5 - Least said soonest mended
Dallas - 7 - Got better as the game went on
Struijk - 8.5 - Key contribution for both goals and a good range of passing
Phillips - 6.5 - Quiet
Raphinha - 9.5 - Outstanding and a moment of magic set us on our way
Harrison - 6.5 - Curates egg, defensive errors mixed with defensive saves, same going forward. One lovely pass for Raph
James - 8 - Good assist and did ok playing up front but the movement not there at the moment
Rodrigo - 7.5 - Grew into the game and that was a decent shot the keeper muffed, dipped at the right time

Drameh (70) - Y - 6.5 - Quiet but wrongly booked
Forshaw (76) - 6 - Solidified the midfield without really showing much
Roberts (87m) - 6.5 - not long enough but still got involved.

Meslier-5. . Didn't have much to do but that error was Sunday league level.

Shacks-6.5 . Did OK I think.

Llorente- 5 . .Didn't handle the pressing well and was at fault for the goal (was his man).

Cooepr-5 . Poor, clumsy, he wouldn't start for any other EPL side

Dallas- 7 . .Did ok, improved as the game went on , just OK.

Phillips-5 . All over the shop with his passing, say it again,.he hasn't been great this season but bias protects him.

Struijk-7.5 . Involved in both goals and Did well overall Imo.

Harrison-4 . .So careless in possession, how he keeps getting minutes I will.never know. My cat would be more of an attacking threat atm.

James-8. Got an assist, so this mark is for that

Raph-9 . He is different gravy to everyone else we have.

Rodrigo-8 . Worked hard, scored a goal, not entirely convincing but the goal importance is worth a 8.

One of the few times we agree, they're few and far between. Cooper has been poor for a while and for me it's only his captains armband protecting him. Llorente didn't have a good game either, agree he was the one who lost his man and Phillips just looked off the pace today

Meslier - 6

Absolutely fine at the 'day job' but his distribution is painfully predictable right now, and invites pressure on the defence.

Shackleton - 6

A fairly typical game from him, looked tidy enough but does the safe thing too often.

Llorente - 6

Again, another who plays too much football at the wrong time.

Cooper - 6

Some Cooperish moments but was dominant in the air. The FK he gave away was Harrison's fault.

Struijk - 7

Another sound display, plays better in a two than a three, seemed more confident on the ball today

Dallas - 6

Gave 100% despite it not really being his day

Phillips - 4

Some petulant fouls and wayward passing. OK towards the end though

James - 6

Flashes of what we paid £25m for, but not really his day

Harrison - 1

Gash. No other word for it.

Rodrigo - 6

Got better as the game went on, link up play was good at times.

Raphinha - 8

A great goal and some good touches, passing wasn't quite as sharp as it has been in other games

Maybe a fault with MB's methods then given he allowed the players to select the Captain?

It basically guarantees 1 player a start no matter what as I can't imagine MB ever dropping the Captain.

He didn't I agree, he didn't handle the press either.

KP hasn't looked right all season

What did Harrison do so well to deserve a 4?

Last season we’d have murdered Norwich, even on one of our lesser performances.

Nice squared pass to Raph which he maybe should have done better with, twice stopped an attack down the left with good tackles and tracked a break by Norwich which looked dangerous till Harrison interfered. Probably worth a 4-6

Meslier - 6.5 - brutal error cost us a goal against a team that had only scored two all year
Shackleton - 7 - Decent, if unspectacular.
Llorente - 7 - See Shackleton
Cooper - 5.5 - Should be grateful that Harrison played; takes some of the attention away
Dallas - 7 - Like the team, significantly better in the second half
Struijk - 8 - Very solid. Should be starting ahead of Cooper on a regular basis
Phillips - 6 - A long way from his best. Passing was mediocre at best
Raphinha - 9 - MOTM. His individual brilliance saved us.
Harrison - 5.5 - Brutally bad game. Frustrating as he shown he can be so much better
James - 7 - Beautiful assist.
Rodrigo - 7.5 - Really began to assert himself in the second half. His goal was deserved.

Drameh (70) - 6.5 - Along with Forshaw, did a good job of seeing the game out,
Forshaw (76) - 6.5 - See Drameh
Roberts (87m) - 6 - only about 8 minutes on the pitch

Meslier 6 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Needless give away corner for the goal.
Shackleton 6 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Gave away silly fouls.
Llorente 6 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Looks good sometimes, a giraffe on ice other times.
Cooper 6.5 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Extra half mark for the best pass of the game, a diagonal 40 yard pass that was head and shoulders above anything KP tried.
Dallas. 7. Didn’t quite look as nervous like most of the rest of the team. Out of position a lot in the first half. On occasion James was the furthest back. A false number 3 ? Getting back to something like
Struijk 8 Only one of three players that didn’t look as nervous like most of the rest of the team. Composed for the most part and easily are best passer.
Philips. 3 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Poor tackling, poor passing.
Rhaphina 8.5 . The other player who didn’t look as nervous like most of the rest of the team. Some wayward passing, but scared Norwich sh.it less.
Harrison 1 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. Truly shocking performance. How did he stay on?
James 4 Looked nervous like most of the rest of the team. One great assist for Rhaph.
Rodrigo 5 Looked nervous like most most of the rest of the team. Sorry, he’s not a forward.

I know I’ve majored on the word nervous but that was the key word for the whole game. We are currently a pale imitation of last season and I believe there is something not right at the club. Last year we looked fearless in everything we did, this season is the polar opposite. Yes we have Bamford to come back and we miss his running, but seriously, is he going to fix things?
I truly hope that now we can settle down and get our system back in shape. The poor tackling is symptomatic of the lack of cohesion, as the players are having to over compensate. That wasn’t a Bielsa team performance yesterday.

To me, all these predictions often remind me of some kind of gambling. It's hard to predict the outcome of matches the same way you would predict a game in a casino. But if I can use a site like BP to evaluate casinos, then to evaluate sports matches I need to put more value on my own thoughts.
Right, you specialized in the word "nervous" :) That's what the team's current game looks like. It's like they're all intimidated and don't know what to do. And it also looks like they're afraid to make a mistake.
