N. Poor decisions/touches/variation in the final third.

Positive: At least we don't have to watch that again
Negative: Still struggling away v the low block when we don't get an early goal

P We are a point better off than we were this time last week
N Not an enjoyable game

Positives- A solid point on the road, clean sheet. Also.... at least we don't have to watch Burnley every week.

Negatives- I waited all weekend to watch that

+ Good round of fixtures for us this weekend as we extended our advantage over Sheff Utd when many expected the opposite.
+ Another comfortable clean sheet.
+ Gruev back fully fit.

- No negatives as it was a good performance and a great point.

Positives - A good point against a top 3 team.

Negative - Poor in the final third of the pitch, poor passes & lost possession far too cheaply.

N. Piroe nor Joseph getting us over the line

POS. The video highlights guy gets to go home early.
NEG. Burnley fans will feel vindicated by their style of play , they got what they wanted

N. If there was yet ever another argument for bringing in a No 10 and a striker this game was it. Burnley were there for the taking as they offered very little.

Pos - A point away against promotion rival
Neg - sooooo boring to watch

P: Another clean sheet for Illan. played sweeper keeper role to perfection.

N: Anthony and Roberts not playing for us, perhaps Farke was doing some whispering to them at the end of the game.

Pos - Don’t have to play Burnley again.
Neg - Plenty of the ball but neither the skill nor the nerve to go for the win.

+ a good point on the road against a rival
- Graham Smyth described it as a disgusting game of football and that about sums it up. Fear of losing stripped any excitement from the game.

Positives - Good away point, top of the table, clean sheet, some players resting during the game ready for Cardiff
Negative - Farke set up for a draw and got what he wanted - Shows our killer edge is non existent against defensive sides.

Positives - We got what we went for and have extended our lead at the top.
Negatives - Inability to break down a packed defence - we need someone who can produce the decisive pass.

I think we learnt from our previous away losses whereby we left ourselves open by trying to force the game. We took less risks as ultimately a point against Burnely was better than them going level on points with us.

Positives:

First side to stop Burnley from having a shot on target this season.... At home as well.

Looked like Farke really tightened up the attack in terms of not leaving too much space when we maraud forwards. Adapted to the situation for the first time in a while.

Defensively solid with a very combative midfield.

Bogle was very good, probably our brightest spark going forwards if a little frustrating with his final ball, improving defensively as well.

Meslier wasn't tested. Squeeky bum time they passed around at the back with him.

Negatives:

I really want him to succeed as I think he's an excellent player in the right system, but Piroe was poor, very little hold up playing ability, passes were overhit and physicality for such a big guy is just not there.... Excellent poacher though..... If only he had the all round game of 26 year old Bamford and his own finishing .

Left back is a big issue for me..... Solid enough from Byram but not having a left back with a left foot play on the left is hampering Solomon I feel.

Aarronsson I'm a big fan of his arc from anti hero this year.... Excellent player to have at this level against teams who leave space.... Highlighted we need a Pablo type magician last night to break through an organised defence though.

Think this squad playing farkes tactics would get hammered in prem some weak areas for championship mixed with some prem ready positions in depth. Very little balance.... A striker, 10 and left back would give us the edge in the championship and would give us a platform if we're promoted. I feel its too tight at the moment to say we'll get promoted if teams around us invest in Janand we don't.
