I'll go an 8/10, MC.

I reckon he had a pretty good game, with no seeming bias one way or the other. Played it with a straight bat.

Docked a couple of points because his positional awareness was a bit questionable at times, I thought. There was a passage of play well into the second half when he just seemed to be getting in the way when we attacking on the edge of their box.

A very solid 7/10 for me.

Maybe that's a little low but I'm probably still adjusting to life in the Championship where the main difference is referees having to live or die by their decisions and this particualr one seemed to get most of them right.

Liked the no nonsense approach and that a penalty would have to b a stonewaller before it's given.

Sebastion Stockbridge is tonights referee along with : Assistant referees: Christopher Ward & Graeme Fyvie

Fourth official: Paul Hodskinson

Probably shouldn't have bothered with this game, only a few going and apparently not shown live.

I thought Stockbridge had a very sound game.

5/10
3 bookings, 2 for United.
Started off quite, then soon lost his way, a couple of birmingham players not brought to book early and let them get away a lot.
Wasn't a penalty in my mind, even VAR would have wiped that off.
A very average show form the official.

2/10 - I can't get over how he blocked Ampadu to allow them to attack and didn't call a drop ball. I've seen Junior Firpo play 90 minutes and make fewer stupid errors.

2/10 but I've a feeling that;s the level of refereeing in the championship. Might be the odd good one. Was poor for both sides really

Unbelievable error from the ref, some other strange decisions too, with his blue shirt on.

The incompetence affected both teams equally, I think, but incredibly incompetent. The Ampadu tackle - which he compounded by not halting play - was simply the most egregious of many horrific decisions. Wildly inconsistent.

He should have awarded a drop ball when he was running in the way.,
And he missed an obvious corner for us.
