Jeremy Simpson 2023/24 stats
Games (all competitions): 3
Yellow cards issued: 17
Red cards issued: 0
Don't think he'll be as card shy as the Millwall ref.

4/10
Very poor
Sending Rodon off was a complete joke, conned umpteen times by their players and everytime Summerville got the ball they fouled him.

When a ref issues so many cards, especially in a game which was never niggly, let alone dirty, it says to me that he is frightened and very low on confidence in his own ability to keep control. Very very poor performance. 1 for me.
WARNING: During game time, any post I make is not to be taken seriously, neither is it meant as offence. I'm a hot-blooded creature prone to moments of exasperation and expletive.

Typical lower standard refereeing.
Can't argue with the 2nd yellow for Rodon but the first was extremely harsh, barely a foul and another Leeds player was in attendance so it was never going to be a break away.
Poor show 4/10

Another dreadful ref
3/10 lost the game and continued with a poor performance throughout

Woeful, dreadful, clueless & totally out of his depth.
There were at least seven occasions when a Watford player could have been shown a yellow card.
Rajovic escaped a booking after three crude challenges on Coops & Cry.
Andrews, yellow carded in the first-half, committed four bookable offences in the second-half.
No idea whatsoever!
1/10 & that's being generous

How this guy got to referee at Championship level is beyond me as definitely more suited to Sunday League. In fainess though he'd probably get so much abuse at that level it's safer for him to have the protection of the professional game.
2/10
