I may have mentioned already my dad still lives in Cas, so I go over once or twice a week.

I think the Valley may be slightly β€˜posher’ now.

I lost my family connections with Cas a few years back so now I only go back for a game every once in a while, what with hotels and travel it gets expensive, especially when we play like last season it’s not worth the expense.

Funny though, I was selling my van last year (in Scotland) and the girl who bought it lives a couple of miles from me now, she was brought up in Airedale!

Richie Myler departs Leeds Rhinos for Championship side York.

Didn’t see that one coming.

It wouldn’t be for me, but I can imagine the local pubs will be pleased with the custom in summer.

Presumably we, as in Leeds United not Cas Tigers, will be away from home that weekend :)

Rhinos came back to win 22-16 after being six points down at half-time

Sam Lisone's try gave Leeds Rhinos a winning start to the Super League season after unfancied Salford Red Devils gave them a real scare at Headingley.

The powerhouse Samoan prop forced his way under the posts to give the Rhinos the lead for the first time with 10 minutes left.

Salford, whose team was severely weakened by the loss of star names Brodie Croft , Andy Ackers & Nene MacDonald.

I watched some of the Leeds game Leon. It was a good game. Much better than that other daft rugby game where the ball spends more time in touch than actually on the field.

I'm not expecting anything special from the Rhinos this season, Swannie.

Cas took a bashing, so one or two on here won't be too pleased.

Probably Rhinos turn for a bashing next week.

My thoughts too.

Our glory days are a distant memory.
