Next up for Crystal Palace (H) Tuesday 30/11/21 is tbc.
Excellent display from Mr Pawson, kept the game flowing when he could and scrupulously fair throughout. Slightly card happy towards the end his only slight fault 9/10.

9/10. Not much I could complain about and let the game flow, got the tenuous 'handball' decisions all correct. Certainly didn't seem to be wearing any particular team's jersey.

New leader at the top of the Ref performance table
7/10 I felt he had a decent enough game but fell for some of their diving. Seemed to be totally unaware of the handball for the penalty until the entire Leeds team pointed it out to him - could have been his positioning to be fair. Otherwise did fine in a fast, physical game.
Started off well giving Struijk the benefit of the doubt with the penalty shout, I’ve definitely seen them given! But then blotted his copy book by being ridiculously gung-ho with yellow cards and then blotted his copy book again by not getting to grips with their blatant time wasting tactics halfway through the 2nd half - there’s nothing more frustrating to fans/me than seeing a referee’s indifference to obvious time wasting. Then to cap it all off he completely missed the handball for the penalty - now, at last, I understand what VAR is for.
So from a possible decent score to start with I’ve ended up unable to give him any more than 3/10 and half of those are for the Struijk non-penalty.
As others have said above a bit too card happy (8 in the match is the highest number in any of our previous games this season) otherwise steady enough though 6/10
