Johnstone is a class act , junior sprinter so most league players can't live with his pace .
Both sides were rusty and without players but leeds definitely looked more solid up the middle. Enjoyable stuff.

I'm amazed that Tom Johnstone hasn't been snapped up by a "big" club - no disrespect to Wakey. How Leeds could do with a winger like him.
Oy! Wakey are one of the founders of Rugby League.....what da ya mean big clubs...or do you mean 'richer' clubs because richer doesn't necessarily mean bigger

Big was in inverted commas, Swannie. Richer would preclude Leeds at the moment, as well. He's a Leeds lad, and would be a good fit for us.

My god he's quick....only a matter of time I reckon.

Sadly for Wakey other clubs will be eyeing Johnstone inevitably making bids for his services.
Nothing to say he would want to leave.....or do you know something I dont?
But.....like I said earlier, rich (let's not call them bigger ) clubs might offer him a few more bob for his services. I really dont like this 'bigger' club c**p.....same goes for the Premier League and Leeds Utd (big club little club)......its rich club, richer club, poor club, poorer club!

Wigan always a tough act to beat at their place Swannie.
Two awful games for wakey to begin with 64, their local rivals and Wigan....both played away from home. Last weeks game should have been at a neutral venue, very unfair on Wakey to give Leeds home advantage really

Agree Swannie
I don't like a whole round of games being played at one particular venue.
End of sets were Wakey's downfall they Certainly took it to the pies physically. Losing Johnstone weaken that side defensively.
Cas to give Leeds a humping today no doubt
