Re: FA Cup Thread.
As many have said the romance of the FA cup has certainly deminished, for me Premiership survival is paramount...let the U 23 play and we can see what they have to offer the first team

Re: FA Cup Thread.
FA cup raises the clubs profile globally, bringing in more revenue streams, home and abroad, is a path to Europe, provides big games for the players to enjoy. Lifts the local economy.
Plus its on legged this time.
We have no excuse not to try our best this time around.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
I can see us trying to progress with a weakened XI but if we managed to get through a couple of rounds I think the first team would then be brought in for the push to the final
Re: FA Cup Thread.
Marcelo Bielsa becomes the first Argentinian coach to lift the FA Cup. And he doesn't speak a word of English. It has a nice ring to it doesn't it?

Re: FA Cup Thread.
Bielsa speaks great English! Just refuses to do so in interviews.
The best clips are the ones where he corrects his commentator

In Bielsa we trust
Re: FA Cup Thread.
It always reminds me of The Life of Brian clip, with the deaf and dumb jailors who can hear and speak perfectly.
Apologies if you can’t say deaf and dumb anymore, no offence intended
